Napoli ultras have given Luciano Spalletti a parting gift by returning the steering wheel and CDs they stole from his car in 2021.
Spalletti arrived at Napoli ahead of the 2021-22 season, but struggled to win over fans in his early days, and some broke into his beloved FIAT Panda in October 2021 before leaving with his steering wheel and CDs.
They then produced a banner that read: ‘We’ll give it back to you, all you have to do is leave.’

They presented Spalletti with a large box which he opened to find his missing items.
In a video circulating on social media, Spalletti was seen reaching his arms out in mock celebration at getting his steering wheel back, as he and the ultras laughed together.
Spalletti is now considerably more popular with the club’s fanbase than when he first joined after guiding Napoli to their first league title since 1990.
His side dominated Serie A this season, finishing 16 points clear of their nearest rivals Lazio.
Their stunning triumph led to wild celebrations across the city after they wrapped up the title with five games to spare.
The ultras are clearly grateful to Spalletti for bringing joy back to the club, and were pictured speaking to the 64-year-old as they returned his possessions.
Spalletti is after leaving Napoli, with the club still searching for his successor.
